THE RUBY VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER & THE RUBY VALLEY HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION

SHERIDAN, MONTANA

On August 22, 2019 The Ruby Valley Medical Center received official notice from the Montana Department of Transportation that our grant request for a new ambulance was approved. The Ruby Valley Medical Center was one of three organizations in the state of Montana chosen to receive a state-of-the-art Type 1 AD four wheel drive ambulance with power cot/power load system as requested in our application.

The Ruby Valley Healthcare Foundation, Nondi Harrington and Kathy Tetrault, Ruby Valley Medical Center EMS Director, were instrumental in obtaining this award. This is a 90/10 match and the Ruby Valley Healthcare Foundation has secured the 10% match through community fundraising activities and additional grant requests. Our new ambulance should be off the production line and delivered to us as early as May 2020.

Thank you to the Montana Department of Transportation for this incredible grant award. A new ambulance will help us continue to provide quality emergency medical services for all our community members, visitors and the rural communities we serve throughout Southwestern Montana.
