2018 saw the culmination of the Ruby Valley Healthcare Foundation Capital Campaign as we celebrated the Ribbon-Cutting of our brand new Ruby Valley healthcare facility in August. In December, as previously planned, RVHF Chairman Les Gilman retired from a very successful leadership position as Chairman of the Board. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Les for his leadership in piloting the Capital Campaign to a resounding success in partnership with our very dedicated board, communities, and generous campaign donors. Be sure to visit our Partners page where we recognize our volunteers, and express deep appreciation to each and every contributor and highlight a few lead donors.
Ruby Valley Healthcare Foundation reached our original Capital Campaign goal of $2.5M to get the new facility qualified for a $9.5M USDA building loan well ahead of the 2-year plan. By the time we officially ended the Capital Campaign in October of 2018, our amazing community of supporters and donors had contributed more than $4M to help fund vital equipment, technology, and support programs and services for the new Ruby Valley Medical Center.
With the new Ruby Valley Medical Center open and operating, the needs of our healthcare organization will be on-going. The Ruby Valley Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization, will be here today and tomorrow to help sustain our new hospital and continue to help fund programs, services, and medical equipment.
The Foundation Board of Directors, staff and volunteers wish you and your family a healthy, peaceful and prosperous 2019. Thank you for your generosity and on-going support for the Ruby Valley Healthcare Foundation and the new Ruby Valley Hospital & Medical Center. Our success is not possible without you!
The new Ruby Valley Hospital & Medical Center will revitalize the community through increased access to healthcare specifically tailored to our local needs. Additionally, it assures that we have that care close to home. The State-of-the-Art facility will carry on the tradition of "Exceptional Care by and for Exceptional People". Now is the time to invest in our future.
